Thank you for pointing this out! Just to clarify, when you're inside of the Call Filter App itself, do you see any option for notifications while in your Call Filter Account Settings? To double check, try these steps:
- Tap Account (lower-right)
- Tap Settings.
- Tap the Activity Notifications
Here is a link to Manage Notifications for Call Filter as well. Please let us know if these steps worked!

Hi, the "App Permissions" menu found in the 'Account' tab 'Settings' sub menu should show an exclamation mark and allow you to tap on the 'Notifications' that contains a deep link that takes you to the iOS native notification settings.
Outside the app: iOS Settings > Notifications > Call Filter > Allow Notifications = ON or Settings > Apps > Call Filter > Notifications > Allow Notifications = ON. Next will be to uninstall and reinstall the app. The latest version is 17.9
If neither these steps work reach out to the Call Filter team directly via their support email address. This information is easily found on the Play Store 'App support' section. It's the same email for iOS.

I can provide some assistance. Go to Settings, then Notifications and look for the Call Filter app on the list. Then make sure Allow Notifications switch is on. ~Peter

I have the same problem; I've downloaded and installed the latest version of the Call Filter app, and during the setup process it:
1) Asks that I select an account, then
2) When I've selected an account, to 'Switch' (that's the only selection available). Then,
3) Once I select my account, it asks that I confirm that I want to change (?) my account, and hit Confirm. Then,
4) Next screen show's 'Permissions needed', and has a 'Go to settings' button. Then,
5) The phone shows a screen titled Call Filter, and has the following settings available: Siri, Search, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data. THERE IS NO SELECTION FOR NOTIFICATIONS.
Going into the Notifications section of the phone's settings, there are many apps listed, but Call Filter is not listed in the Notifications section. So both of the above replies from Verizon don't work for us - the first commenter has the same problem.
Call Filter doesn't even show up in the Notifications section of my iPhone settings. It isn't there.
And because the app itself hasn't completed the setup process, you can not go into the 'Accounts' section at all, in fact until the setup is complete, you can't access anything in the app.
It appears there is a bug somewhere in the app, or between the account permissions on verizon.com, and the app.

As I noted above, the app itself hasn't completed the setup process, so I can't access ANYTHING in the app until it finishes setup - which it can't because I can't give it Notifications permission.
Also, I spent 30min on the phone with Verizon tech support, they couldn't help me. They sent me to UBreakIFix, and they weren't able to help either. It appears there's a bug.

I'm having the same exact issue. In iOS settings for notifications, Call Filter does NOT show up as an app in the list. Your app engineers screwed up.

Same problem here. What a lovely app. Verizon is the only carrier that charges for premium call filter on highest plans and it doesn’t even work lol
