$300 Verizon e-gift card rebates?

In November 2024, I switched (3) family member accounts to Verizon and purchased (3) new iPhones on the Verizon website.  There was a promotion that offered  $300 Verizon e-Gift Cards for online smartphone purchases.  This was a key factor in my decision to switch to Verizon.  However... after purchasing the phones, I was advised I would receive some instruction on how to submit for redemption.  I did not receive any info, so I contacted Verizon customer service.  The service rep reviewed my purchase and confirmed that I was qualified, so they said they would submit the redemption for me, which it appears they did do.

After a week or so, I hadn't received any updates regarding the rebates, so I called customer service again and they reviewed my purchase and eligibility, and confirmed that the redemption claims had been properly submitted.

I still hadn't received any info on the rebate submissions by 12/18/24. So I called Verizon and spoke with another customer service rep.  He worked with me to submit the redemption claim online, via the digital rebate center, using the 300CARTOFFER24 code.  He said i should expect the rebate around January 1st of 2025.

Three weeks into January, I had still not received any gift cards or gift codes for the rebate offer.  So, I called support again on Jan 22, and spoke with another customer service rep to ask when I would receive the rebates.  He looked up my account and said that it showed they were still "being processed".  I questioned why it was taking so long and he said I should get them soon, or I would get call if they needed any additional information.

I have still never received the e-gift cards, nor any phone call asking me for additional info.  Today, I checked the digital rebate center online, and it now shows the rebate statuses as "invalid" 😡.   They only explanation is listed as "submission did not meet offer requirements", which is not true (I have a screenshot of the original text from the rebate offer as evidence).

I am really disappointed in Verizon.  I realize mistakes can happen. However, I have been very patiently waiting for three months, and have spoken with Verizon CSRs multiple times to ensure that I would receive these rebates, each time being assured everything was on track.  Now, the rebates are showing up in the rebate center as "invalid", two months after the e-gift cards were supposed to be issued!

I would not have chosen to switch to Verizon had I believed this rebate offer was not going to be honored.  I would really like to get this resolved, but I am starting to doubt Verizon's sincerity and willingness to honor their rebate offer and make this right.  I also have serious doubts that another 60-minute call with Verizon customer support is going to yield any better results than I have experienced so far.  Unfortunately that seems to be the only advertised path to resolution.  If I am not able get this resolved in short order, I may resort to reporting this to the BBB and FTC.  Is there anyone here that can help, please???

I know how important promotions like this are to me when I look at a service, or making a purchase, cdottavio. I would want to make sure I was able to redeem my offers as well. I appreciate the time you took to explain your journey with trying to redeem this offer, and the process sounds like the correct one to take to do that. I would be upset if after all that waiting the rebates showed invalid as well. I would be happy to take a look into this and make sure we can achieve a resolution. Please be on the lookout for a private message from me since we will need account access to assist.

Sounds like we all need to start making calls to the FCC  - Verizon, this rebate was a HUGE reason I selected you over AT&T.  Its difficult to talk to anyone. Then you send a link that goes no where, but it also disconnects the call. This is ridiculous and advertising rebates with no intents to fulfill them is fraud.
