Arizona Surcharges- Do not live there

Hello. I want to know why I am being charged surcharges for the government and a county of Arizona for a cell phone purchased there. The account for at least 24 years has been billed and associated with an address in Maryland. I would like future Arizona surcharges to stop as well as be refunded for the years this line was being charged. How do I go about to do that? I don’t understand how purchasing a phone in one state and residing and having a bill sent and another state I should be charged the surcharges for so many years and continue to be charged them.

Resolution Update: By partnering with support, the issue of the Arizona surcharges was resolved. If others have similar problems with surcharges for a device bought out of state, please keep in mind that taxes are billed monthly for device payment plan purchases in AL, AZ, CO, IL, NM, ND, and SD.

Taxes are based on the store location at the time of sale or the shipping address used for an equipment order.
