Blocked bank account!

  • I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. I have recently had some financial hardships and am a newly single mother to an almost 3 year old. Because of 2 recently returned payments (both payments made within 15 days of the attempted autopay), they recently blocked my bank account, which would remove the discount. I also recieve the TEACHER DISCOUNT, and to be eligible for that particular discount,  you have to have an unlimited plan and also be enrolled in AUTOPAY!  The fact that Verizon will take away discounts from those who need it most is disgusting. The remedy for someone having a financial hardship is NOT TO CHARGE THEM MORE MONEY! I explained to them that if they did not remove the block, I would no longer contribute to their CROOKED BUSINESS.  They had absolutely nothing to say to that except for "sorry. " Don't worry Verizon,  I am not sorry. I'm done with you. Ironic I just received an email thanking me for over 20 years of my business.  You just kicked me when I am down? So you will absolutely no longer recieve any of my business.  You disgust me. I have a child. And one day she will need a phone,  and it won't be from you. BYE BYE!!!!!!!!!!

Your reply is so generic and has nothing to do with the actual problem. Like I said, as soon as I pay off my phone contract, you'll never see me or my family again. PEACE!
