I have a PC and Xbox in my house located in the same room. They are both working and connected to the internet, but neither are showing up as connected or online devices when I log into the router. Our 2 laptops, the smart tv, nintendo, all others show as online, but not the PC or Xbox.  Any ideas?

Do those devices have connectivity problems?

Listed as "offline" does not imply a lack of connectivity. Conversely, listed as "online" does not guarantee connectivity.

Yes, They do sometimes have connectivity issues.  We do have a netgear extender outside the room, and another verizon extender on the lower floor. Could one of those be causing the issue?

The issue presents itself when trying to add parental controls to those devices. With them showing offline constantly, the controls never kick on at the designated time.

What does the Advanced Log say in the router? RSSI low and constantly finding a new station?

How does the NetGear extender work? Does it just receives a poor signal then magnifies the poorness?
