My mother has been in the hospital and rehab facility for the past 10 days. She will be staying with us the next two weeks. She has a full FIOS DVR with shows she has recorded from the past 10 days and would like to be able to watch them here at my house. I also have FIOS (we have the same service). Is it possible for me to bring her DVR to our house and plug it in so she can watch her shows.

That shouldn't be a problem because the stb will remain active in the system, and as long as it is hooked up to the Verizon network it will work. Its just going to take a few minutes to reboot once you reconnect it.
