I got a new DVR box - installed it...worked great for 1 day. I went to just change the channel from a SD channel to a HD channel...no sound what so ever. I have to turn the TV off and back on...then it works. If I try just turning off the STB, it still wont come back...you have to turn the TV off and back on, I connect with just an HDMI cable. Any ideas? TV related? However this didn't happen with just a HD STB...only when we got the new DVR STB.
I think I found a solution. I adjusted the audio settings within the MENU -settings - Volume CONTROL - CHANGE fixed to Vaeiable and now I can't repeat the volume loss during channel surfing. your welcome. lol
