Sound drops on DVR playbacks on the non-DVR boxes when Fast Forwarding or Rewinding

The only way I found to get the audio back is to quit the recording, then come back to it with "Resume Play" Audio is fine until I fast forward or rewind again. Note that this happens on several recordings, but it does not happen if I watch those same recodings on the main DVR box.

Same issue here.  But an extra pause and play again gets the sound back.  It is annoying.

So where's the solution to this problem? Fios send me replacement boxes for every room and it still happens. annoying is an understatement. why am I paying them so much money?
