My FiOS remote is very... slow. I will be in the guide and press the up or down button but it would only work for every other or so button presses. I tried the remote reset and reprogramming but it still does the same. I realised that the lights for the devices all flash twice for every button i press. What is wrong with my remote?
Nothing. I use a universal remote with my box and it behaves similarly. The cheap Motorola boxes seem to get moody from time to time and don't respond to remote commands, and then after a while suddenly realize there is a backlog of remote commands and act on all of them at once. Very frustrating when it happens.
