I think he is asking how to change the number of rings before voicemail answers, and not the length of the rings. I think you can change that by dialing into the Verizon voicemail admin system using * 86 and I believe that's one of the options in the admin system.
Well apparently I was wrong. You cannot change this anymore using the *86 voicemail admin system. It's now set to 30 seconds as Red mentioned. I did not know that.
