4gLTE Network Extender Cannot access manage menu on verizon menu

I am trying to find out how to change my netowrk to closed instead of open I found the manage portal on my devices on the website but  it just hangs while loading. I tried to change it through its gateway but it doesnt allow me to change it there.

There is not a way to get closed access on Verizon extenders, at least for the time being.  This problem has been going on for at least a couple of years.  Another forum member has posted elsewhere that it's being worked on, but how long it'll be...nobody knows.  If you have random people getting free Verizon service off your extender, the only thing you can do is to lower the transmitting range (or switch providers so you don't need an extender).

As @SynthpopAddict stated, you can lower the "Transmit Power" from the extender's local admin settings (which you seem to already know how to access it):

1. Once logged in, from the left side menu select 'Settings' and then from the drop-down menu select 'Advanced'

2. Uncheck the box for 'Automatic Transit Power Mode' and use the slider bar to set the desired range and select 'Save'

 

Currently, the Manage Network Extender page in MyVerizon Website is going through a migration phase so that's why you are seeing a loading screen. This is due to the server is attempting to relay a page with the extender's details on that page which didn't get a timely response to fulfill that request from another server. Until the IT department fully fixes it, the workaround above is the only solution.

I am having the same issue and was on tech support for two hours till the tech support person had to go “into a meeting” which was more important than helping me with my problem.  Call back promised and never received.  Reset everything multiple times and cannot manage network extender because page will not load.  Also tech support person was not able to even adjust the white list so they can’t access it either……

Should be able to be managed from the device and not the website.
