LTE Network Extender - Server Error 5a - Submit MAC address

I want to provide the MAC address with my brand-new network extender, since other posts suggest that is why I'm getting the 5a error message. However, the extender doesn't show up as a "device" under my account, so I'm unable to proceed with phone or chat support. When I finally got the AI assistant to accept my request for a "live agent"... many, many minutes went by. Is there an email address I can submit this issue to?

There is no email for regular customer support. Within MyVerizon you should be able to open a support request in Service Central and wait for agent to respond. You can also send a private message to Verizon's customer support handle vzw_customer_support on this platform.

The extender doesn't show up in your account at all?  Unless you bought it from someone else who didn't need it and the problem is that the extender is registered to that other person's account so you therefore cannot manage or access it...then someone at Verizon made an error and did not add the extender to your account when it was shipped to you.  You would first have to get someone to add the extender to your account so you can manage the device.  Once the extender has been registered to your account, if it still isn't working, then that points to a problem with the extender.

[update] If you are prepaid, I've read elsewhere in the forums that prepaid accounts can't get a network extender added to them.  It's something to do with prepaid accounts being in a totally different part of the system.  If someone at Verizon managed to ship you an extender, but you're prepaid, that's why you can't properly set up the extender and it won't register to your account.
