As a very longtime customer of Verizon, I find it insulting that for the amount of my monthly bill, I would have to pay for an upgrade regarding blocked and spam calls. I take the time to block & report spam calls I do not want to receive. If I am doing that, please make it make sense why these calls(some) go to voicemail! If the numbers are blocked, that means that I do NOT want the calls going to voicemail PERIOD. Verizon needs to do something about this...and not at an additional cost to customers.

The number which is blocked is being spoofed, so is not the real number of whomever that is. The only things I can think of are to try some 3rd party anti-spam apps and/or report the spam calls to the FCC.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

We hear you, ninainVA! The last thing we want is for you to have to deal with spam and robo calls. We do offer a free Call Filter app, that helps detect, block, and identify spam/robo calls. While some can still slip through the cracks, this is the best no-cost option we have while we continue to work with the FCC to stop these types of calls from happening. Verizon needs to figure out how to block spoofed calls. The lack of awareness on this topic within the organization is mind-boggling. I have no idea why I’m using a phone number when all it does is receive spam calls. I spend more time trying to setting filters then actually using the number for communication.

i have paid call filter plus and it is not connecting to network server to allow me to report and block calls. not even letting me do it through my verizon app much less paid call filtered plus app
