HELP!!! I used to own a Verizon phone number and a subscription a couple of years back, and I had all my social media accounts linked on it. Recently my Snapchat account was logged out and although I have the username and password, they requested a verification code to the old Verizon number. I've tried with Snapchat support but they refused to help and said the only way to get back into the account is through that verification code.
I have a lot of family pictures on that account, and I would really love having them back. My only option left is if Verizon can help somehow. I would pay to get that verification code if needed.
Please help if you can, and if there are any suggestions I would love to hear from you.

The only thing I can think of is to check if the number is available - it could very well be in use by someone else and with some other company by now - and if it is, you'd have to ask Verizon to open up a new line with that number so then you can login to the Snapchat account. This is assuming the Snapchat was part of your Verizon perks and tied directly to your Verizon account. If the Snapchat was not tied to your My Verizon account at all, then it doesn't have to be Verizon running the number; you could ask your current carrier to open a new line with that number assuming it's available.

Thank you. The issue is that the number belongs to someone right now, I called him and he refused to help and hung up, I basically begged him for help and even offered to pay him, but he simply said he won't help and hang up

I hate that you are going through this. I would recommend reaching back out to SnapChat support to let them no you have obtained a new number and no longer have access to the old number. Not only that, but II would also ask them is there any other way to verify the account. I hope these recommendations help.

We understand how precious memories are and always want to do all we can to help, Sam2015. If you are no longer using the number, there is unfortunately, no way to retrieve messages sent to it. For any third party app issues, we do recommend reaching out to the app for support with your Snapchat account.

Thanks for replying. Well, apparently Snapchat has the worst customer service ever. As you can see, I sent them a request, and they replied as attached without even telling me anything. They just refused to help and won't even reply to any further inquiries.

If the only way to get back into your account is to get the 2FA code from the phone number which now belongs to someone else, then you're going to have to try calling/texting that guy who hung up on you and ask for the code so you can change all your login credentials. 😞
